Terms of Service

The rules of the road for working with C&C Land Services.

Last Updated: May 21, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the C&C Land Services LLC website and the land clearing, forestry mulching, site preparation, and demolition services we provide. Please read these Terms carefully before requesting a quote or scheduling work.

Agreement to Terms

By accessing our website at candclandservices.net (the "Site") and/or requesting services from C&C Land Services LLC ("C&C Land Services," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using the Site or requesting our services.

These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and customers who access or use the Site and/or contract for our land clearing, forestry mulching, site preparation, and demolition services (collectively, the "Services").

Services & Scope of Work

C&C Land Services provides professional land clearing, forestry mulching, site preparation, and demolition services in Mayo, FL and surrounding North Florida counties.

All work is performed on a project-by-project basis. The specific scope, timeline, and deliverables for your project will be outlined in a written estimate or proposal provided before work begins. Any changes to the agreed scope must be approved in writing by both parties.

We reserve the right to refuse service for any property or project that poses safety hazards, lacks proper access, or does not comply with local regulations.

Estimates, Quotes & Pricing

Estimates provided via our website, phone, email, or on-site consultation are based on the information available at the time. Final pricing may vary if project conditions differ from the initial description (e.g., acreage, terrain, debris density, buried obstacles, or accessibility).

All estimates are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated in writing. A signed acceptance of the estimate and/or a deposit may be required to schedule work.

Payment terms will be specified in the project proposal. We accept cash, check, and electronic payment methods as agreed upon in writing.

Scheduling, Cancellations & Weather

Project scheduling is subject to weather conditions, equipment availability, and prior commitments. We will communicate estimated start dates and any delays as promptly as possible.

If you need to cancel or reschedule a confirmed project, please provide at least 48 hours notice. Cancellations within 48 hours may be subject to a cancellation fee to cover reserved labor and equipment costs.

Weather-related delays are outside of our control. We prioritize safety and will not operate equipment in unsafe conditions. We will reschedule weather-delayed work at the earliest mutually agreeable time.

Property Access, Permits & Utilities

You (the property owner or authorized representative) are responsible for ensuring we have safe and legal access to the work site. This includes unlocking gates, removing obstructions, and marking property boundaries if necessary.

You are responsible for obtaining any required permits, easements, or approvals from local authorities, homeowners associations, or other relevant parties prior to the start of work.

You must mark or disclose the location of underground utilities, septic tanks, wells, irrigation systems, and other hidden structures. C&C Land Services is not liable for damage to unmarked or undisclosed underground utilities or structures.

Limitation of Liability & Assumption of Risk

Land clearing and heavy equipment work involves inherent risks. While we take every reasonable precaution, you acknowledge that unforeseen conditions (including but not limited to buried objects, unstable ground, hidden structures, and natural obstacles) may affect the work.

C&C Land Services is not responsible for damage caused by pre-existing conditions, undisclosed hazards, or property conditions that could not reasonably be identified prior to work commencement.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the specific project giving rise to the claim.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits or property value changes, arising out of or related to our services.

Insurance & Safety

C&C Land Services LLC is licensed and insured. We maintain general liability insurance and workers compensation coverage as required by Florida law. Certificates of insurance are available upon written request.

All crew members are trained in equipment operation and jobsite safety protocols. We comply with applicable OSHA and Florida workplace safety standards.

You agree to keep all persons, pets, and vehicles clear of the active work zone during operations for their safety and ours.

Photos, Videos & Intellectual Property

We may take photos and videos of projects for documentation, quality assurance, marketing, and promotional purposes (including on our website, social media, and advertising).

By contracting with us, you grant C&C Land Services a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use photographs and videos of the completed (or in-progress) work for marketing and portfolio purposes, unless you notify us in writing prior to or at the time of service that you do not wish your property to be photographed or featured publicly.

Warranty & Satisfaction

We stand behind our workmanship. If you believe the completed work does not match the agreed scope outlined in your signed estimate, please contact us within 14 days of project completion.

We will make reasonable efforts to address legitimate concerns related to workmanship or scope deviations at no additional cost. This warranty does not cover issues caused by weather, third-party damage, or conditions outside the original agreed scope.

Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or our services shall first be addressed through good-faith direct negotiation between the parties. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to mediation in Lafayette County, Florida. If mediation fails, the dispute may be resolved through binding arbitration or litigation in the appropriate Florida state court.

Each party agrees to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Lafayette County, Florida for any legal proceedings that are not subject to arbitration.

Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Site or our services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
